Corona claims 2 more lives in Jharkhand on Sunday, total deaths now 924

Ranchi: Coronavirus has claimed 2 more lives in Jharkhand on Sunday taking the total number of deaths caused by the virus to 924 in the state.

According to official data, on Sunday 129 new cases were also detected in different parts of the state, while 291 patients were declared cured and were discharged. Two casualties have been reported.

Official data say that till Sunday a total of 37,90,900 samples have been tested in the state. Out of these, 1,06,064 samples have tested positive.

However, 1,02,188 infected persons have already recovered and have been discharged from different hospitals fo the state.

For now, the state has a total of 2,952 active cases of coronavirus infection.

Total deaths have reached 924. And although the ferocity of the pandemic has slowed down a little, deaths are once again rising steadily and that is a concern for the experts.
