Baharagora: The Baharagora unit of Akhil Bhartiya Vidyarthi Parishad celebrated Deepotsav in honour and memory of martyr Ganesh Hansda in his native village Kasafalia (Baharagora).
The Chief of National District Kala Manch Jyotirmoy Das and Sanjay Praharaj of RSS honoured and felicitated the parents of martyr Ganesh Hansda by offering them shawls.

Parishad members also distributed sweets and masks with he children of the village and shared joy with them on Deepavali.
While the family members of Martyr Ganesh Hansda looked visibly happy with the presence of ABVP members, children of the village were also joyous and in a mood of celebration.

On this occasion, Jagannath Nayak, member of ABVP state executive committee said that martyr Ganesh Hansda scarificed his life for the defense of the country.
He said that when the soldiers guard our borders, we are able to sleep peacefully at our homes.
He said that every Indian should light a diya in the name of martyrs. He said that the people should encourage our soldiers who are fighting battle against terrorism.

Jyotirmoy Das, chief of Rashtriya Jila Kala Manch, said that while the country is celebrating Deepavali, our soldiers are busy teaching a lesson to the enemies at the border.
Pakistan created mischief just before Deepavali and as a result 5 Indian soldiers have been martyred while at least 3 soldiers and 8 citizens are seriously injured.
He said that ABVP appeals to the countrymen to light days in honour of soldiers who are battling at the borders.
Those who were present during the entire programme included ABVP workers Jagannath Nayak, Jyotirmoy Das, Amit Kumar, Sanjay Prahraj of RSS, Deputy Mukhiya Basu Kisku, Dinesh Hansda, Nagen Murmu, Sunil Hansda, Binod Kumar Tudu, Parvati Kisku, Joba Kisku, Sonali Hansda and Savitri Hansda and other villagers.
