Coronavirus claims 1 more life in Jamshedpur on Wednesday, total deaths 361

Recovery rate 91%, mortality rate 2.2%, positivity rate 5%

Jamshedpur: Coronavirus has claimed one more life on Wednesday in Jamshedpur. With this, the total number of deaths caused by the coronavirus pandemic has now reached 361.

The number of deaths, and even the new cases, have fallen in the last few days and there is no doubt about it. But, what is worrisome is the number of deaths has once again started picking up. After a brief period of no deaths, casualties have once again started occurring with regularity.

According to official data, a total of 3,28,033 samples have been tested in East Singhbhum district. Out of these, 16,290 samples have tested positive, while 3,11,743 samples have tested negative.

Meanwhile, 29 new coronavirus positive cases have been detected in the district, taking the total number of infections to 16,290.

On the other hand, 40 patients were also cured and discharged on Wednesday. Till now, 14,805 patients have been cured and discharged of coronavirus in the district.

The recovery rate for the district is now 91%, while mortality rate is 2.2%. The positivity rate is 5%.
