Coronavirus claims 2 more lives on Saturday, total deaths 897

Ranchi: Coronavirus has taken 2 more lives in Jharkhand on Saturday. With this, the total number of deaths caused by the coronavirus pandemic has now reached 897.

According to official data, on Saturday, 340 new cases were detected across the state. On the other hand, 411 persons were also cured and discharged from different hospitals and from home quarantine.

Two persons have also succumbed to the virus.

Till Saturday evening, the state has tested a total of 36,07,753 samples. Out of these, 1,04,239 samples have tested positive.

The number of active cases of coronavirus for now is 4,566. On there other hand, 98,776 persons have already bee cured of the disease.

A total of 897 persons have died in the state.
