TMH coronavirus recovery rate moves up to 89.20%, new admissions down by 4

Jamshedpur: The recovery rate of coronavirus patients in TMH has improved from 88.82% last week to 89.20% this week.

Till date, a total of 3,897 COVID-19 positive patients have been admitted to TMH, including 34 in the last 1 week. The number of corona patients admitted in TMH in previous week was 38, so the admissions have come down by 4.

On the other hand, till date 3,476 COVID-19 positive patients have also been discharged from TMH. Of these, 49 were discharged during the last week. The number of discharged patients for the previous week was 61, and in that sense the number of discharged patients has come down along with number of admissions.

In all, 76,040 tests including 37,334 RTPCRs have been done so far in TMH, while 5,838 patients were found positive.

The RTPCR positivity has dropped from the level of 30% nine weeks ago to 2.54% (4.05% last week). Similarly, the Rapid Antigen Testing Positivity has dropped from 9% eight weeks ago to 1.73% this week (2.06% last week).

TMH has seen 363 deaths till date, including 3 in the last 1 week. The number of deaths was 9 in the previous week. So, there is a clear drop in the number of deaths in TMH. The mortality rate for TMH is 6.22%, out of 5,838 patients who were tested positive by TMH.
