45 participants take part in bicycling rally, most complete 100 km circuit
Jamshedpur: Steel Cyclos started the bicycling season by organising a 100 km bicycling race on Sunday. The race started from JRD Tata Sports Complex to Chaibasa and then came back from there.
Steel Cyclos is a city organisation committed to promote bicycling in the community. It has been creating awareness about the importance of bicycling and has been organising bicycling races and competitions since 2017.
The organisation feels that bicycling is not only a cost-effective and highly beneficial activity, but can replace exercise regimen of people too.
More than 45 bicyclists took part in the 100 km circuit organised by Steel Cyclos on Sunday.

All safety precautions were taken by the organisers.
Leaving one or two participants, most participants completed the circuit by reaching Chaibasa and then coming back to the start point.
The organisers said that safety was given the top priority. If anyone’s bicycle gets deflated or any participant is injured during the circuit, there is an arrangement to provide them help and medical aid too. These arrangements also travel along with the bicyclists during the course of the race.
The organisers said that the common citizens provide all help and co-operation in the competition.
The organisation said that bicycling is an activity that helps in fitness, while ensure social distancing too. Therefore, they feel, bicycling is the best physical activity during corona pandemic.
