Good Sunday for Jharkhand too, only 1 death, recovery rate 93.92%

Ranchi: A very good indications are coming from official data being tabulated by the health department relating to coronavirus infections in Jharkhand. During the last 24 hours, only one person has died in Jharkhand and this is the second day when only one person has died. The total deaths due to coronavirus for the entire state stands at 885 till Sunday night.

According to official data, the state has tested a total of 33,93,772 samples till date. Out of these, 1,02,087 samples have tested positive.

For now, the state has only 5,229 active cases of coronavirus. On the other hand, the state has also been able to cure and discharge 95,973 patients till date.

On Sunday itself, 326 new cases were detected in the state, while 398 patients were also cured and discharged. One death has been reported.

East Singhbhum has been the worst affected district of the state both in terms of deaths and total infections. However, good news has been pouring from East Singhbhum, as Sunday has been the 5th consecutive day when zero death has been reported by East Singhbhum district.

The recovery rate for Jharkhand has reached 93.92%, while for the entire country it is 91.30%. On the other hand, the mortality rate for Jharkhand is only 0.86%, while for the entire country, it is 1.5%.
