Family members demand immediate arrest of culprits
Jamshedpur: Mustakim Khan, one of the two persons, who were injured in the firing by Salman gang in Dhatkidih on September 5 last, has died.
According to information received, after he was shot in the Dhatkidih incident, he was injured and was being treated in TMH. He had even recovered and was later released from TMH.
However, late Friday night, his condition suddenly deteriorated. He was rushed to TMH, where he succumbed. His family members are demanding arrest of the persons responsible for his death. His dead body is still in TMH morgue.
According to his son Kalamuddin, his father Md. Mustakim had sustained a bullet injury in Dhatkidih firing incident. He was admitted in TMH and was later released after he recovered. But, Friday night his condition worsened suddenly and he died. He demanded immediate arrest of the persons responsible for his father’s death.

Four persons have already been arrested in Dhatkidih firing case. However, the gang leader Salman is still out of reach of the city police, who are looking for hi.
The police are still trying hard to arrest Salman and raids are being made to apprehend him. He is the main accused in Dhatkidih firing case and also leads the so-called ‘mardana gang’. Police say that this gang was also involved in drugs abuse cases.
It may be recalled that on September 5 last, members of mardana gang had assaulted and misbehaved with Abdul Wahid and his family members. When the local residents opposed them, they fired at them. At least 10 to 12 bullets were fired. Md. Mustakim and Qayoom had got bullet injuries in the incident.
The police had also found two used cartridges and four live cartridges from the site of occurrence. The police had even seized on motorcycle from the site of occurrence.
