Vigilance Awareness Week begins in NIT Jamshedpur

Slogan, poster and essay competitions to be held during week

Jamshedpur: NIT Jamshedpur is observing a Vigilance Awareness Week from October 27 to November 2, 2020.

During the week, Ashu Shukla, DIGP, CRPF delivered an online talk. He has been a recipient of Meritorious Police Service Medal from President of India in 2017 as well as United Nations Medal, 2000.

The theme of the Vigilance Awareness week is – Vigilant India, prosperous India.

Mr. Shukla delivered a talk on vigilance measures to the staff members as well as the students of the NIT Jamshedpur through online mode.

The Institute plans to conduct a slogan and poster competition during this vigilance awareness week.

An essay competition on the same topic is also planned in both Hindi and English for all academic, technical and administrative staff members of the Institute.

The submitted essays would be evaluated and the selected essays would be posted in the Institute’s website.

The local media may be requested to publish the selected essays. An e-pledge would be taken by all academic, Technical and Administrative staff of the Institute as well as by more than 3500 students during the week.
