Total death toll now 352, recovery rate 90%, mortality 2.2%
Jamshedpur: Coronavirus spared Jamshedpur city on Wednesday as no one succumbed to the disease and the total death toll for the district remained at 352. This is a happy news as after a dip, the death graph had once again started showing a trend of rise.
According to official data, till Wednesday 2,80,848 samples have been tested. Out of these, 15,685 samples have tested positive, while 2,65,163 samples have tested negative.
On Wednesday, 27 new cases of coronavirus cases have been detected and with this the total number of infections have reached 15,685.
On Wednesday itself, 30 patients were also cured and discharged from different hospitals.
Till Wednesday, the district has a total of 1,170 active cases.
The recovery rate has reached 90%. The mortality rate for East Singhbhum district is 2.2%, while the positivity rate for the district is 5.6%.
