Jamshedpur: Madan Anjan, a well-known poet and writer of Jamshedpur and a member of Janwadi Lekhak Sangh, Singhbhum is no more. He died at his Parsudih residence.
He was unwell a few days back and had returned after having been treated in TMH. He had also retired from the service of Tata Steel this year itself.
He was known for his small, but effective verses. He was known to be very close to late Prof Raghav Alok.
He was a regular attendee of literary meets in Parsudih when top writers and poets of the city met regularly.
The members of Janwadi Lekhak Sangh, including Tapas Chatterjee, Ajay Kumar, Ajay Mahtab, Rajdeo Sinha, Shyamal Suman, Lata Mankar, Mrs. And Mr. Asthana, Ashok Shubhdarshi, Sujay, Varun Prabhat, Anand Balaji, Harendraji and Dr. Uday Hayat and others today remembered late Madan Anjan and paid rich tributes to him.
