Coronavirus causes 11 deaths on Monday in Jharkhand, 510 new cases

Ranchi: After relenting for a couple of days, coronavirus has again raised its ugly head in Jharkhand and has claimed 11 lives on Monday. With this, the number of deaths in the state due to the virus has reached 798, only 2 short of 800.

According to health department data, the number of cumulative infections in the state has reached 93,035.

However, 890 persons were also cured and discharge don Monday and this brought the number of active cases in the state to 7,776.

According to official data, 510 new cases were found and the maximum number of new infected persons were detected in Ranchi and the number of patients found in Ranchi was 199.

East Singhbhum remains the worst affected district of the state, both in terms of deaths as well as new infections.
