Jamshedpur: The 118th birth anniversary of late socialist leader Lok Nayak Jai Prakash Narayan was celebrated by BJP leaders and workers in Jamshedpur too.
Jai Prakash Narayan was born in 1902 in a small village Sitabdiyara on the borders of Bihar and UP. He had played an important role in unseating late Indira Gandhi from power and installing Janata Party government at the centre.
Socialist workers and people having belief in socialism are celebrating his birth anniversary all over the country. Even in Jamshedpur several programmes were organised at different places to pay rick tributes to him.
In Mango too BJP workers and leaders along with the members of Kayasth Samaj offered floral tributes to him.
BJP leader Dr. Dineshanand Goswami too reached J P School at Mango and offered floral tributes to late Jai Prakash Narayan. Jamshedpur Mahanagar BJP president Gunjan Yadav and his supporters also reached the place and paid rich tributes to Jai Prakash Narayan.
