Coronavirus relents, no death on Saturday

Jamshedpur: Coronavirus pandemic seems to be on a decline in the city. Not a single death was reported from any hospital in the city on Saturday due to corona.

According to official data, 67 new positive cases were detected in East Singhbhum. On the other hand, 102 patients were cured and discharged from different hospitals.

Only one person succumbed to Corona during the last 48 hours. On Friday, one person had died due to Corona, while Saturday did not record any death.

The total deaths due to corona in the city remains at 333.

According to official data, till date 2,19,513 samples have been tested, out of which 14,836 samples were found positive.

In all, 12,989 patients have been cured and discharged. The district still has 1,514 active cases of corona. The recovery rate has now gone up to 88%.
