Corona claims 10 more lives on Tuesday in Jharkhand, total death toll 757

Ranchi: Coronavirus has taken 10 more lives in Jharkhand on Tuesday. With this the total number of deaths due to corona in the state has reached 757.

According to official data, the state has tested 24,65,841 samples till Tuesday. Out of these, 88,873 samples have tested positive, while the state has 10,027 active cases on Tuesday.

IN all, 78,089 patients have been cured and discharged in the state till Tuesday. On the other hand, 757 persons have also succumbed to the virus.

On Tuesday itself, 847 new coronavirus infection cases have been found in the state. Meanwhile, 1,248 persons were also cured and discharged.

After a brief lull, the number of deaths has again risen to 10 on Tuesday. Deaths and rise in positive cases remain a big concern for the state.

East Singhbhum is the most affected district in Jharkhand both in terms of death toll as well as number of positive cases.
