Covid-19 takes 7 more lives in East Singhbhum on Friday, total tally 184

86 more people test positive, total infections now 6217

Jamshedpur: Covid-19 has taken 7 more lives in East Singhbhum on Friday taking the total death toll for the city according to official data to 184.

All those 7 deceased who died on Friday were admitted in TMH. They included a 56-year-old man from Mango. He had diabetes and pneumonia too. Similarly, a 72-year-old person from Agrico also died. He too had co-morbidities. A 78-year-old male from Mango and a 57-year-old woman from Dimna Road too succumbed to complications.

Besides these four persons, 48-year-old from Harharguttu, an 82-year-old person from Bistupur, a 53-year-old male from Telco also died due to Corona taking the death toll for the day to 7 and total death toll to 184.

Meanwhile, 86 new positive cases were detected in East Singhbhum on Friday. The total number of positive cases in East Singhbhum has now reached 6217. Meanwhile, 152 patients were also cured. Till date 3519 persons have been cured and discharged.

According to the data issued by the district administration 184 patients have died of Corona in the district till Friday, which takes the death rate to 2.96 per cent.

According to the administration data, till date 33519 patients have been cured, while the number of active cases is 2511.
