New public square to have food hub, water fountains
Jamshedpur: Tata Steel has constructed a new public square in Bistupur. The public square was formally inaugurated on Wednesday by the Deputy Commissioner Suraj Kumar and SSP Dr. M Tamil Vanan.

Keeping the Covid-19 situation in mind, the public square inauguration event was organised online.
Speaking on the occasion, the DC Suraj Kumar lauded the hard work of the construction team engaged in the construction of the public square and said that this is an excellent gift to the denizens of this city and all should chip in with their contribution in keeping it clean.

The DC also suggested that a graffiti corner be constructed near Bistupur Police Station and near Talwar Bhawan.
He said that the public square will have several amenities and this would benefit the citizens.
The SSP Dr. M Tamil Vanan also thanked the team that constructed the public square and said that this construction is definitely a gift to the citizens of this city on the lines of metro cities.

Mr. Chanakya Choudhary, VP (CS), Tata Steel said that once the coronavirus pandemic is over, this public square would be a centre of attraction for the people of this city. He said that citizens should help in keeping the public square clean.

Mr. Tarun Daga, Managing Director, TSUISL proposed the vote of thanks.
