Corona kills 7 on Saturday in Jamshedpur, total city death toll 167

Jamshedpur: Corona has taken 7 more lives in the city. All three have died in TMH taking the total death toll for the city to 167.

Among the deceased on Saturday was a 29-year-old youth of Nildih, Telco.

Two other deceased are from Adityapur in Seraikela-Kharsawan district.

The 29-year-old youth was admitted in TMH on August 21 with breathing difficulties and high fever. He died Saturday morning during treatment.

During treatment he suffered heart attacks and died as a result. He also had a problem of obesity.

The other two patients were residents of Adityapur. One was a 63-year-old woman who was admitted with breathing difficulties, cough and fever. She died Saturday at 4.45. She had co-morbidities too.

The third deceased was a 68-year-old from Adityapur Vaastu Vihar. He was admitted with other problems, but during test he was found covid positive. He died Saturday noon during treatment.

The fourth deceased was a 70-year-old woman of Telco. She was admitted with fever and breathing problems and died on Saturday.

Similarly a 52-year-old Kadma resident also succumbed to Covid. He was an employee of Tata Steel. He died on Saturday.

The 6th deceased was a 71-eyar-old man from Sonari B Block. He was admitted on August 21 with high fever. He died during treatment on Saturday.

The 7th deceased was a 76-year-old person from Mango. He too was admitted with high fever.
