Corona takes 3 more lives on Tuesday, total death toll for city now 144

Jamshedpur: Corona has killed three more persons in the city on Tuesday. All three died in TMH during treatment, taking the death toll for the city to 144.

Among those who died due to Covid-19 on Tuesday was Sanjay Kumar, 50 of DB Road, Bagbera.

The second deceased was a 52-year-old person of Tuiladungri. He was admitted in TMH on August 15 after having breathing problems.

Third casualty was a 54-year-old woman from Ghorabandha. She was admitted in TMH on August 9 with fever and breathing difficulties. She died on Tuesday.

Till date 129 persons have died in TMH of Corona.

Youth who committed suicide in Sonari found Corona Positive

On the other hand, a youth of Khuntadih, Sonari, who committed suicide by hanging himself Monday night, has been found Corona positive.

His family members say that he used to work as a contract worker. During lockdown he lost his job. He was facing financial problems and due to these problems he hanged himself.

360 more test positive in East Singhbhum district

A rapid antigen test drive was launched in East Singhbhum district. In all, 8429 samples were collected for testing. Out of these, 360 persons have tested positive for Corona. At the same time 8084 samples were found negative.
