Corona takes 3 more lives on Monday, total death toll for city now 141

Jamshedpur: Corona has again taken three lives in the city on Monday taking the total death toll for the city to 141.

According to information received, all three persons were being treated at TMH and they died of complications due to Corona virus.

Among the deceased was a 54-year-old person of Agrico Muslim Bustee. He was having breathing problems and was suffering from fever for a few days. He was being treated at home. When his condition deteriorated, he was admitted in TMH, but died within hours.

In the second case, a 62-year-old woman of Barigora was admitted in TMH on August 14. She died late evening on August 16.

The third casualty was that of a 74-year-old man of Gamharia. He was admitted with complaints of high fever and diarrhoea. He died Monday morning.

With this, the total death toll for the city has gone up to 141.

On the other hand, 36 new cases of Covid-19 were detected in East Singhbhum district. At the same time 27 patients were also cured and discharged in the district.
