Corona kills 5 in Jharkhand on Thursday, State death tally now 209, new cases 629

Ranchi: Covid-19 has started taking a heavy toll on the state on a regular basis. On Thursday too Corona has given no respite to the state and has taken 5 more lives in Jharkhand taking the total death toll to 209 in the state. On the other hand, the state also registered 629 new positive cases.

On Thursday, 5 persons have died of Corona in Jharkhand. With this the death toll for the state has now reached 209.

Meanwhile, 601 persons have been cured and discharged in the state too on Wednesday.

In all, 629 new positive cases have been found in the state on Thursday.

With this, the total number of infections in the state has now reached 20,950. Meanwhile, till date 13,013 persons have been cured and discharged in the state.

Till date the state has tested 4,11,027 samples, out of which 20,950 were found positive. The number of active cases is 7,728 in the state.
