Jamshedpur: Corona continues to be unrelenting in the city as it killed 3 more people on Tuesday taking the death toll to 81. In all, 188 more persons have tested positive for Covid-19 in the city taking the total number of infections in the city beyond 3000.
Tuesday saw the maximum number of new cases in the city. In all 188 new patients were found taking the number of total infections to 3077.
Three patients have succumbed to Covid-19 related complications.
These include two men and one woman.
On the other hand, on Tuesday, 57 patients were also cured.
Till date 1226 patients have been cured in the district, while 1773 case are still active.
The new patients found in the city on Tuesday include 9 from Tata Motors, 10 from Ghatshila Court campus, employees from SBI Jamhsdpur and Golmuri as well as Galudih branches, 8 from Sakchi Mills Area, one woman staff from Birsanagar, two employees of TMH and three employees of Mercy Hospital besides 10 jawans from Haludiboni camp.
The district administration has issued strict orders to enforce social distancing in vehicles, taxis and bikes in the city.
