Jamshedpur: Offline admissions in Workers’ College, Jamshedpur has caused crowding by students eager to get admitted into the college and this is causing compliance with social distancing norms difficult.
Although the city is in the grips of Corona virus and the district administration has been appealing to everyone to not go outside their homes needlessly, the administration of Workers’ College seems to have not paid much attention to such appeals.
While most of the educational institutions in the city have closed offline processes and have gone for an online education system, Workers’ College administration has not switched to online systems completely, at least for admissions.
Offline admissions process are continuing in Workers’ College. This is causing crowding in the college campus posing a threat of spread of virus among the students.
The students present on the campus also complained that there was no arrangement for sanitisers on the campus either.
Although, circles with chalk were made on the ground for helping the students remain distant from each other, many were seen ignoring them.
