Corona takes 5 more lives in city on Wednesday, total deaths for city 55

71 fresh Covid-19 positive cases, 100 cured and discharged on Wednesday

Jamshedpur: Corona has taken 5 more lives in city taking the total death toll in the city due to Corona to 55.

The vice-chairman of SCCI Dinesh Choudhary’s Covid-19 test report too has come as positive.

Those who died on Wednesday due to Corona included a 63-year-old man from Kitadih. He was admitted into TMH on July 29.

On the other hand, a 38-year-old youth from Ranikudar too has died. He was admitted with symptoms of coughing and cold. He died during treatment.

A 38-year-old youth from Gurudwara Basti too has died of Corona. Besides, one 67-year-old Sakchi resident too has been died of Corona.

An identified body was found corona positive too. Not much details have been found about this case.

Till date 55 Jamshedpur residents have died of Corona.

Meanwhile, according to the district administration communique, 71 new persons have tested as Covid-19 positive in the city. They are being admitted in different hospitals of the city.

On the other hand, 100 persons have also been cured and discharged from the hospital.

The district administration has appealed to the people to continue maintaining social distancing.
