AIDSO opposes New Education Policy 2020, burns policy copies

Jamshedpur: All India Democratic Students Union (AIDSO) today held a protest to oppose the New Education Policy 2020 and burnt its copies.

AIDSO has been organising protests against the New Education Policy 2020 all over the country.

The members of AIDSO said that the new education policy proposals are completely wrong and this would lead to rampant commercialisation and privatisation of education.

They said that the new policy proposes handing over of primary education to Anganbadi Sevikas. However, the sevikas are not trained and this would impact the quality of education.

They said that most of the parents would choose the option of sending their wards to private schools.
