New Delhi: Shweta Singh Kirti, the sister of deceased Bollywood Actor Sushant Singh Rajput, has appealed to the Prime Minster Narendra Modi to ensure justice in the case relating to her brother’s demise.
In a statement on Saturday morning, she said: “Dear Sir, Somehow my heart says that you stand with and for the truth. We are from a very simple family. My brother had no Godfather when he was in Bollywood nor do we have anyone right now. My request to you is to immediately look into this case and make sure that everything is handled in a sanitised way and no evidences are tampered with. Expecting justice to prevail.”
Meanwhile, the demand for a CBI probe into Sushant Singh Rajput’s demise is growing stronger even while Mumbai Police has not been co-operating wit the Bihar police team that is in Mumbai right now.
Bihar’s Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi on Friday said that Mumbai Police was not cooperating with Bihar in investigations and that ultimately CBI should be given this case as Mumbai Police is placing obstructions in the way of fair investigations.
Meanwhile, Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray on Friday said that the state police were capable of probing the Sushant ‘suicide’ case, and that people must trust the probe into the case being conducted by the Mumbai Police.
