Bihar police undaunted as Mumbai Police misbehaviour draws flak

Demand for CBI inquiry into Sushant case gets louder, Bihar DGP: we will not be distracted from goal

Patna: The misbehaviour of the Mumbai Police team with the Bihar police team that has gone to Mumbai to investigate the matter relating to Sushant Singh Rajput’s case has drawn a lot of flak from the people in general and the fanbase of late actor, in particular.

Many people have condemned the unsavoury behaviour of Mumbai Police with the Bihar police team and have questioned its intentions.

People are criticising the way Bihar police team members were dealt with in Mumbai.

Dr Nishikant Dubey, MP, Godda, has also criticised the behaviour of Mumbai Police and said that the ED probe has actually perturbed the mafia and ruffian brigade. He remarked: “This behaviour of the police is alarming. The investigation of ED is disturbing the mafia, goons and terrorists.”

Meanwhile, the DGP of Bihar, Gupteshwar Pandey, has not made any comment on the stand-off between Mumbai Police and Bihar police team. But, he has tweeted a cryptic poem in Hindi, which says a lot. It says: “We are neither tired, nor can bend, we can also not stop without ensuring justice for the crime, and till the guilty gets punished for his misdeed. We are adamant that we will not be diverted from our goal.”

Although, it does not refer to Sushant Singh Rajput case or the Mumbai Police directly at all, it can be a fair interpretation that Bihar police too is now determined to take this fight to the logical conclusion and would not be daunted by the claims of jurisdiction being made by the Mumbai Police.

Bihar DGP’s tweet was also re-tweeted by Sushant Singh Rajput’s sister Shweta Kirti Singh.

The tussle is likely to get stronger in the days to come.
