Ranchi: A group of devotees belonging to Jharkhand unit of Vishwa Hindu Parishad today left for Ayodhya with a collection of soil and water taken from different sacred sites and rivers of Jharkhand. This collection of soil and water would be used in Ram Mandir construction.

Sacred soil and water has been collected from more than 2100 different places. These include 1100 Sarna Sthals, 18 Gurudwaras, 11 Jain Mandirs, 2 Bauddh Vihars, from Birsa Munda birth place, 16 Akharas and 51 ghats of different rivers of Jharkhand as well as different other sacred sites.

The group of devotees that left for Ayodhya with sacred soil and water included Organisation secretary of VHP Keshaw Raju, state organization secretary Devi Singh, state secretary Dr. Virendra Sahu, Publicity chief Sanjay Kumar and Ranchi unit convenor of VHP Amar Prasad.
