Jamshedpur: With a view to preparing beforehand for a difficult Covid-19 situation in the city in the days to come, the district administration has started bolstering its health infrastructure.
The DC along with other top officials of the administration today visited the Surveillance Centre as well as all the quarantine centres of the city.
The ADC, Saurav Sinha, later said that the earlier quarantine centres are being upgraded into quarantine care centres.
Wherever a person’s sample is taken, he would be stationed there.
Besides, the district administration has also making a move to arrange beds in numbers three times the active cases.
The ADC said that for now 2000 beds are being arranged for by the district administration.
He also added that the Awadh Dental College of Mango on the Highway will be used as a Covid Care Centre.
Besides, KPS School too would be used turned into a Covid care centre.
Work is also on to provide paid quarantine centres.
He said that the patients can also use paid quarantine centres.
Meanwhile, the ADC also appealed to the people to continue maintaining social distancing.
