CM Hemant Soren gets threat emails, FIR registered, SIT probe begins

Jamshedpur: The Chief Minister of Jharkhand, Hemant Soren, has received two separate emails with threats. The persons sending these two emails have warned him to mend ways or face the consequences.

The threat emails to the Chief Minister has caused a sensation in teh police department.

The CID has formed an SIT to probe the case. An FIR has been registered with the cyber police station in Ranchi.

According to reliable sources, the CID has found the origin of the two emails and have also collected information about the IP address from where those emails have been sent.

Now the police are looking for the persons behind the threat emails and it is hoped they would soon crack the case and arrest the persons responsible for sending threat emails to the Chief Minister.

It may be added here that the former Chief Minister of Jharkhand Raghuvar Das too had received such threats.

At that time, a notorious Maoist was arrested from Uttrakhand in connection with that threat email.
