31 new Covid-19 positive cases in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur: 31 more Covid-19 positive cases were identified in Jamshedpur on Thursday. This took the total number of infections in the city to 748.

According to information with the health department, in all 31 new Covid-19 patients have been identified. Out of these, one has a travel history to Chennai, while four others have a travel history to Bihar. All the infected are residents of Jamshedpur city itself.

The newly identified patients are being admitted in the Covid wards of the two hospitals of the cit.

The district administration has appealed to the citizens to continue maintaining social distance and keep cleaning their hands.

Corona has killed five people in the city, apart from one woman from Jamadoba. This has caused the administration to impose restrictions in the city and strict measures against the social distancing norms violators are being taken.
