Suraj Kumar takes charge as new DC of East Singhbhum

Jamshedpur: The new Deputy Commissioner of East Singhbhum, Suraj Kumar, today took charge of his new responsibility. The outgoing Deputy Commissioner, Ravi Shankar Shukla, handed over the charge of the post to him.

Soon after assuming charge, the new DC said that fighting Corona disease and ensuring that the citizens remain safe from the scourge would be his first priority.

The new DC of East Singhbhum Suraj Kumar takes charge from outgoing DC Ravi Shankar Shukla.

He also directed the officials and employees to continue the task of development and implementation of different government schemes with the usual pace.

Later, he said that all offices are like families and everyone needs to contribute to run it well.

He said that it is a matter of great pride for him to be given the charge of this district.

He also met all the officers and employees of his new office.

Most of the officers of DC office were present when he was taking charge from the outgoing Deputy Commissioner.
