Vikas Singh demands statue of deceased BDO at Mango Chowk
Jamshedpur: Palajori BDO’s death has now turned into a big political issue in the state as the demand for a CBI probe into the reasons for his death is getting wide support across the political spectrum.
Today a delegation of BJP leaders, led by Vikas Singh, submitted a memorandum to the district administration and demanded CBI inquiry into the death of Palajori BDO.
The delegation also demanded that a statue of late BDO be installed at Mango Chowk as a mark of respect to his honesty and dutifulness.
Yesterday, the Agriculture Minister of the state Badal Patralekh had condoled the death of Palajori BDO Nagendra Tiwari and had assured his family of all possible help.
He had also promised help in ensuring that a high-level probe is conducted to know the truth behind the officer’s death. He had also described the deceased BDO as an honest officer and someone who had a very clean image in his work area.
On the other hand, Saryu Roy too has described the death of the Palajori BDO as very unfortunate. He said that he personally knew the deceased officer and he was a very honest and sincere officer.
He had hinted that the officer may have been facing harassment and truth must be brought out.
