Jamshedpur: On the instructions of the deputy commissioner of East Singhbhum, Ravi Shankar Shukla, a special sanitation drive was launched in different wards of all the three local bodies of urban areas of Jamshedpur urban.
Under this drive, sanitisation was carried out in different alleys and roads as well as settlements.
Roads were also swept and cleaned and several houses were sanitised. Drains were also cleaned up.
The district administration is aiming to ensure that all drains are cleaned before the rainy season unfolds with vehemence in the city.
The sanitation drive would continue till July 15.
