Covid-19 causes one more death in Jharkhand, total deaths 24

145 more test positive for Covid-19 in Jharkhand, total now 3663, active 1383

Ranchi: One more person has died in Giridih, Jharkhand on Saturday due to Covid-19 taking the death toll due to disease to 24 in the state.

On the other hand 145 more persons have tested positive for Covid-19 in Jharkhand on Saturday. This takes the total infection tally of the state to 3663.

However, at present only 1383 cases are active and other 2256 patients have already been cured and discharged from hospitals in different parts of the state.

32 patients were cured and discharged from hospitals in the state on Saturday.

In all, 1,76,858 samples have been tested in the state, out of which only 3663 people have tested positive.

Seeing the rise in the numbers, several districts have started imposing curbs on activities to slow down the spread of the disease.
