CM Hemant Soren’s Covid-19 report is negative

Ranchi: The Chief Minister of Jharkhand Hemant Soren has tested negative for Covid-19. His and his wife Kalpana Soren’s samples were taken today itself and the test report is negative.

Samples have also been taken for tests from all CMO officers and employees as well as security personnel.

After giving his samples for the test the Chief Minister said that more and more people should willingly get tested for Covid-19. He said that anyone who has even slightest of the symptoms for Corona should get themselves tested.

He said that early testing would not only help in treatment, but would also be a great help in thwarting the further spread of the disease.

It may be recalled that the Chief Minister Hemant Soren had home-quarantined himself after it was found that one cabinet minister Mithilesh Thakur and MLA of his party Mathura Mahato have tested positive for Covid-19.

As a precautionary measure the Chief Minister had home-quarantined himself and had made it clear that he would continue to discharge essential duties from home.
