Police team deployed at MGM Hospital for better security

Jamshedpur: MGM College & Hospital will have a tight security arrangement now. A police team, with one ASI, one havaldar and four constables, has been deployed at the hospital for better security on the instructions of SSP, M Tamil Vanan.

The Deputy Superintendent of the hospital, Dr. N K Choudhary said that this would come as a big help in maintaining law and order on the hospital premises.

Owing to Corona outbreak, the number of patients in the hospital has increased and this has also aided anti-social elements to gather on the hospital premises. Many untoward incidents have been reported from the place.

Owing to regular incidents, and the fact that a few Corona patients had escaped the hospital too, questions were being raised on the security arrangement on the hospital premises.

Earlier, the security arrangements were overseen by home guard jawans. But, now district police force has been deployed there.
