39 new Covid-19 positive patients found in Jharkhand, active 766, death tally 20 now

Ranchi: The number of new Covid-19 positive cases found on Monday in Jharkhand reached 39. With this the total number of cases in the state has now reached 2854.

23 patients were also cured and discharged today in different parts of the state.

Out of the 39 new patients found today, 12 are from East Singhbhum, 10 are from Ranchi, four each from Hazariabgh and Seraiekela, three from Chatra, two each from Lohardaga and Kodarma and one each from Palamu and Latehar.

The state has 766 active cases. East Singhbhum has maximum 269 active cases, while the number of active cases in Ranchi is 105.

However, the state has also suffered 20 deaths till date.

The number of new Covid-19 patients is on the rise in Jharkhand. On Sunday 53 new cases were detected. On Monday, it came down slightly as 39 persons have been found positive.
