RJD celebrates 24th foundation day with bicycle rally

Jamshedpur: Rashtriya Janata Dal celebrated its 24th foundation day on Sunday.

Hundreds of party workers took out a bicycle rally to mark the occasion. Cake cutting and flag hoisting ceremonies were also organized to add glitter to the event.

District RJD president Ambika Banerjee led the party members during the celebrations.

A party office was inaugurated near Gol Pahari Chowk. Before flag hoisting, senior party leader Radhe Prasad Yadav was honoured with a shawl.

Party members took a pledge to strengthen RJD in Jharkhand.

During the bicycle rally, the partyś youth wing members protested against recent hikes in petrol and diesel prices.

They demanded a rollback in larger public interest.

They also sought an omnibus ban on all China made goods in the country.
