15 more test positive for Covid-19 in East Singhbhum on Sunday, total 501

Jamshedpur: 15 more persons tested positive for Covid-19 in East Singhbhum district on Sunday. With this, the total number of infection cases have crossed the mark of 500. The total number of positive cases have now reached 501.

Out of these 15 new cases one has had a travel history of Orissa. Others have had no particular travel history.

One new infected person is from Potka, one each from Sonari and Kitadih, while five are from Baridih, three from Bagbera, one from Mango, one from Parsudih and two are residents of Jugsalai.

All of these new patients are being admitted in the Covid hospitals.

The district administration is concerned at the rise in the number of new cases, especially of those with no travel history. The administration has reiterated its appeal to the people to comply with all the necessary precautions.
