Recovery rate almost 77 per cent in Jharkhand, need to be more alert: Hemant Soren

Ranchi: Chief Minister Hemant Soren said the recovery rate of COVID-19 patients has reached 77 per cent in Jharkhand and the rate of new infections has shown a decline in the last 20 days. He attributed the success to the dedication and hard work of Corona warriors and the cooperation of the people.

¨Although recovery rate and rate of infection has reduced in our state, infection is going up in the country. Therefore we all need to be more alert and cautious,” said Soren.

In a late night tweet, the CM said, ¨In order to fight with COVID-19 pandemic, the state government had to take some tough decisions in the last few months which caused inconvenience to one and all. But the dedication, courage and patience with which everyone faced the infection, is praiseworthy. The struggle of our friends still continues.¨

Soren appealed to the people to exercise maximum precaution. He asked people to follow social distancing norms and avoid going to crowded places. ¨Maintain distance, but keep our hearts connected and beware of those trying to fulfill political ambitions by breaking the society. We will be able to ward off this pandemic through affection, brotherhood, harmony and mutual cooperation.¨
