Hemant Soren remembers Santhal heroes on Hul Diwas

Ranchi: Chief Minister Hemant Soren paid rich tributes to the heroes of Santhal revolution on the occasion of Hul Diwas on Tuesday. He garlanded the statues of Jharkhandś brave martyrs Sido, Kanhu, Chand, Bhairav, Phulo and Jhano.

In his address, Soren said the sacrifices made by the martyrs could never be forgotten by the people of the country. He appealed to youths to follow in the footsteps of the great revolutionaries and reiterated that the state government was keen on giving the martyrs and their families their dues.

Soren said it was not possible to celebrate the occasion during the ongoing KOVID-19 pandemic and hence people celebrated Hul Diwas individually.
