Jamshedpur: Various labour unions have decided to observe nationwide protest against the labour policies of the Central government on 3rd July.
A decision to this effect was taken at Tinplate Workers Union auditorium by the union office-bearers. It was unanimously decided to present an 11-point memorandum before the Central government.
The meeting was chaired by the newly-appointed Intuc state president of Jharkhand Rakeshwar Pandey.
The representatives of several other unions were also present at the meeting.
The unions have demanded a slew of measures to ensure the welfare of workers, especially in the current politico-economic scenario.
