29 new Covid-19 positive cases in Jharkhand, 42 cured on Friday, total infected 2294, active cases 635

Ranchi: Jharkhand has detected 29 fresh Covid-19 positive cases on Friday. However, 42 persons have also recovered and released from hospitals in different parts of the state.

According to official data, till date 1,647 persons have recovered in the state.

On Friday, 29 new cases were detected as their samples were found positive. With this the total number of infections in the state has reached 2,294, while 12 persons have also died. Thus the total number of active cases in the state has reached 635.

According to the reports from district, out of these 28 new cases in Jharkhand, six are from Giridih, five from Hazaribagh, three each from Deoghar, Dhanbad and Dumka, while two each are from East Singhbhum, Bokaro, Godda, Kodarma, Pakur and Seraikela districts.

On Thursday, 44 new Corona positive cases were found in Jharkhand. However, today the number came down to 29.
