10 year-old girl dies of snakebite in Baharagora

Jamshedpur: A 10 year-old girl, identified as Puja Behra, died of snakebite in Baharagora on Thursday last.

Sources said the incident took place in Kapadiya village. The girl, daughter of Raju Behra, was sleeping on the floor when a poisonous snake bit her, said Badi Behra, uncle of the deceased.

The girl was taken to the Community Health Centre (CHC), Baharagora, where doctors pronounced she was pronounced brought dead.

Police officials reached the CHC and inquired into the incident.
