Ranchi: 65 new Covid-19 positive cases were found in Jharkhand on Sunday, June 21, 2020. This takes the total tally of infected persons in the state to 2092, while the number of active cases in the state has come down to 672.
According to official records, of the 65 new cases confirmed on Sunday, the maximum 13 are from East Singhbhum, 11 from Deoghar, seven from Godda, Bokaro and Gumla each, 6 from Giridih, four from Hazaribagh, two from Ranchi, two from Kodarma, two from West Singhbhum and one each from Khunti, Lohardagga and Dhanbad.
Two infected persons have also been cured and released on Sunday. Both belong to Garhwa district.
The recovery rate in the state is over 67%, while the same for the country is only 52.80%.
Officials indicated that the number of active cases is decreasing with time and this is a positive indication.
