13 new COVID-19 cases detected in East Singhbhum, total infected tally 317

Jamshedpur: 13 more Covid-19 positive persons have been identified in East Singhbhum district on Sunday. With this the number of infected persons in the city has gone up to 317 now. Those found positive in repeat tests are excluded from this count.

Out of these 13 fresh cases two have a travel history to Delhi, while one had arrived here from Mumbai.

One new patient is a resident of Baharagora, two are from Musabani, one from Dhalbhumgarh, one from Agrico, one from Sidhgora and one is a resident of Baridih.

All these new positive patients are being admitted in Covid-19 wards of the city hospitals.

Meanwhile, the district administration has reiterated its appeal to the citizens to continue abiding by all the safety precautions to thwart the spread of the disease and to continue social distancing.
