DC appeals to citizens to continue following safety and distancing norms
Jamshedpur: 10 more persons have tested positive for Covid-19 in Jamshedpur. All of these 10 persons have had a travel history and they were already kept under quarantine.
Those who have tested positive today had travel history to Delhi (4), Kolkata (3), Mumbai (1) and Maharashtra (1) and Lucknow.
Out of these 10 fresh cases, three are residents of Birsanagar, one of Jodisha, one of Chakulia, one of Govindpur and 2 each of Tinplate and Chhota Govindpur areas.
All these 10 newly confirmed patients have been admitted into Covid wards of city hospitals.
The deputy commission of East Singhbhum, Mr. Ravi Shankar Shukla has once again appealed to the people of the district to continue helping the administration in the fight against Covid.
He said that people should not go out of their houses unnecessarily, they must use mask, keep washing their hands regularly and keep using sanitiser, even while avoiding not to spit here and there. He said that the social distancing norms too should be followed religiously.
On the other hand, three fresh cases have also been reported from Seraikela-Kharsawan district. In West Singhbhum too three persons have tested positive.
